    LAKEFRONT CABINS

    Whether it’s a family vacation, a getaway for two, or a romantic honeymoon, our wooded and lakeside cabin area is the place to spend that quality time together that you have been waiting for. Located off Area #2 Campground; approx. 50′ from water’s edge. You can tie water craft up to tree in front of cabin.  No Smoking. No pets inside or out. No tents permitted outside rental unit.

    Sleeps 6 • 2 Private bedrooms with full bed in ea. • 1 Sleeper Sofa. • Heat A/C  • Must bring all Bedding, Pillows, Towels & Cloths for Kitchen & Bath, and Toiletries. Full Kitchen with full-size appliances including: Coffee pot, Microwave, Toaster, Pots & Pans • Dishes, glasses and cutlery for 6. (Must bring Kitchen towels and dish rags.) • TV w/ DVD player (no cable/satellite) • Free Movies at store or bring your own. • Bathroom with Commode, Sink, Shower/tub.     COZY CABINS

    Constructed by Appalachian Log, our open-floor-plan Cozy Cabins are perfect for small families wanting an authentic, rustic camping experience with some old-fashioned home comfort. Located in Area #4 Campground across from Bathhouse. Only Cozy Cabins #1 and #2 are pet-friendly, for a charge of $10 per pet, per night. Two pets maximum. No smoking. No tents permitted outside rental unit.

    HILLTOP CABIN

    Our newest cabin, the Hilltop Cabin, is a brand-new unit that was built by Nicholas County vocational students and received national regocnition for its construction. Located on a gorgeous knoll overlooking the Area #2 Campground, the Hilltop Cabin offers a concrete patio with a table and chairs, fire pit, and a charcoal grill. Linens are not provided. No Smoking. No pets inside or out. No tents permitted outside rental unit.

    Rental House

    Are you looking for larger accommodations? This fully decorated and beautifully furnished rental unit comfortably houses 16 people, which makes it a perfect getaway for your whole extended family. Located in Oak Hill, you will still be able to enjoy the amenities at Mountain Lake Campground, just 20 minutes away.

Additional Information

  • Check In starts at 4:00 PM and Check Out is at 11:00 AM for all rental units.
  • You must be at least 21 years old to reserve rental units, and rental units require a $100 Security Deposit at the time of reservation.
  • Peak Season dates and rates may vary; please call the office for details.
  • Rental unit rates are subject to Sales & Hotel/Motel Tax, and there are no Saturday Check-Ins or Check-Outs allowed.
  • Rates include: Swimming Pool, Beach, Most Activities, Movies, Picnic Table, Fire Ring.
  • Rental Units are available from May 13th to October 17th.
  • Holiday Rates apply to Memorial Day Weekend (Friday through Monday), Fourth of July (1st-7th), Labor Day Weekend (Friday through Monday).

Lakefront Cabins

  • Additional people age 7 and older– $20 per person per night.
  • No pets, no smoking.

Cozy Cabins

  • Additional people age 7 and older– $10 per person per night.
  • No smoking. Pets are prohibited except in Cozy Cabins 1 and 2. ($10.00 per night per pet’ maximum of 2 pets.)

Yurts

  • Additional people age 7 and older– $10 per person per night.
  • No pets, no smoking.

Cancellation Policy

Mountain Lake does not refund payments. If you call to cancel 14 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit taken at time of reservation (minus a $10 processing fee) will be kept on file under your name/phone number and can be applied to future camping, tows, or honey wagon service, to be used within the current year (No Store purchases).  If you cancel with fewer than 14 days’ notice, then you will lose your whole deposit. No refunds for early departures for any reason. We do not give refunds for illness, work schedule changes, family emergencies, inclement weather, acts of nature, or other events beyond the campground’s control.
