Mountain Lake Campground & Cabins
Cancellation Policy
  • NO REFUNDS are given but, if you cancel 14 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit paid, minus a $6.00 processing fee will not be returned to you but kept at the campground as a credit to be used on a future reservation only.
  • Sorry we do not give refunds for illness, work schedule changes, family emergencies, inclement weather, acts of nature or other events beyond the campground’s control.
Reservation Policies for Campsites and Rentals
  • To guarantee a reservation, we require the 1st night's stay as a deposit payable by all major credit/debit cards. Non-refundable.
  • A $100 deposit is required for any Campsite reservation that is 30 days or more.
  • Reservations not checked in by noon the day after your scheduled arrival date will be released without refund.
  • Holidays require a 3 night minimum stay for Memorial/Labor Day (this is a Friday thru Monday stay). July 4th is also a 3 night minimum (call for dates).
  • Peak season weekends require a 2 night minimum stay. No Saturday check in's or out's.
  • The first person checking in is responsible for full payment. For your convenience, we offer an ATM.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any business.
  • We do not accept checks.
  • Mountain Lake Campground is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Campsite Information
  • Check-in is at 2:00pm and after
  • Check-out is by Noon
  • Must be 18 or older to rent
  • Campsite rates include 2 people (Additional people 7 years and older and is extra charge of $5.00 per person per night. 6 people max per site)
  • All Campers must wear wrist-bands to access campground amenities
  • Each camping area has a playgroun and bath house
  • You can tie your boat up at the site ONLY if you have a reservation on sites 447, 448, 450, 452, 454, 456, 458, 460, 462, 464, 466, and 468. All other sites can tie up at our beach located in Area 2.
Group Campsite Information
  • Group sites are for 7 or more people (Can be rented with fewer people but pricing remains the same).
  • We will need names of the 7 people when making reservation.
  • First person checking in is responsible for paying the balance.
Rental Units Information
  • 4 people maximum in camper rentals.
  • Upon check-in you will need $100.00 security deposit paid by CASH ONLY. Upon checkout if Customer Checkout list duties are completed and there are NO damages you will be refunded your deposit within 30 days. If duties are not completed or there are any damages or any breaking of the rules NO refund will be issued.
  • NO SMOKING allowed in any rental unit.
  • NO pets allowed in or outside of rental units.
Pet Policy
  • No Rottweiler’s, Pit Bulls, Dobermans or Chows For more info see policy on website.
  • No pets allowed in or outside (Lakeside Cabins or Campers). Only Cozy Cabin 1 & 2 are pet friendly $10 per pet, per night (2 pets max)
Visitors/Overnight guests
  • Visitors are welcome just be sure they are listed on your visitors list that you bring with you at check in or they will not be allowed.
  • Visitors must stop by our store/office to be verified before being allowed to site, and to get their car pass.
  • Visitors are not allowed to bring pets
  • Paying camper is responsible for their visitors
  • Visiting hours are over at 9:30pm
  • If visitors decide to stay overnight they need to come to office/store and pay visitors fee and get an overnight car pass, as long as your site doesn't exceed the maximum of 6
Express Check In

At times during the camping season we will be offering Express Check In. Tell the reservations teammate you want Express Check In, if we are offering it for the time you are camping with us. this allows you to bypass the lines in our office by driving through our "Express Check In" area where you will receive your packet which includes: Car tags and your Invoice.
Call ahead:

  • Pay all camping fees in full
  • Tell us the number in your party
  • Tell us your vehicle make(s), Vehicle tag number and state
  • If you will be bringing a pet print off and fill out the pet information form to turn in See forms
